Research Studies – Real Time Energy Data

The premise of enabling behaviour change to reduce electricity consumption by putting better (real time) data in the hands of homeowners has been well studied. Attached are several full reports for your review. The first report by ACEEE (American Council for an Energy Efficient Economy) was released in June 2010 and is a review of more than 60 research studies in this field. We have also provided a report by Sarah Darby (Oxford University) who many see as one of the early leaders in this field. Lastly we have provided the report from Blue Line Innovations’ first significant in field research which was completed with Hydro One in 2005/2006.
